Newland Driving School teaches manual and automatic driving lessons in Hull, Hessle and Cottingham. Learners usually compare several instructors on their phones before they call anyone, so the website has one job: be found on Google, look trustworthy, and make booking a first lesson as easy as possible.

We designed and built a nine-page website for Newland around how learners actually choose an instructor: price, proof that pupils pass, and a quick way to get in touch.

The Challenge

Learners compare several instructors on their phones. The site had to show prices, proof of passes and a way to book within seconds, and appear when people in Hull search for manual or automatic lessons.

Our Solution

A fast, mobile-first site with a clear Hull headline, a price page with lesson packages, a gallery of pupils who passed, a first-lesson offer and Call, Book and WhatsApp buttons that stay on screen on mobile.

Results

The site is live at newlanddrivingschool.co.uk. Newland's feedback after launch: fast delivery.

What we built

A nine-page site where every page has a clear purpose:

  • Home: the headline "Manual & Automatic Driving Lessons in Hull", the first-lesson offer, the pass gallery and an enquiry form
  • Manual Driving Lessons in Hull and Automatic Driving Lessons in Hull: a separate page for each, so each can rank for its own search
  • Prices: £41 per hour, plus package prices from 5 to 30 hours showing the saving on each
  • About and Contact
  • Cancellation policy, privacy policy and terms

Built to turn visits into bookings

Every page leads to the same action: send an enquiry, call or message on WhatsApp.

  • First-lesson offer up front: book one hour and drive for 90 minutes (new pupils)
  • "Meet Our Passers" gallery of pupils who have passed
  • Refer-a-friend offer explained in a simple "you get / your friend gets" panel
  • A four-step "How it works" from first message to passing the test
  • An enquiry form that asks the questions an instructor needs: manual, automatic or not sure, and whether the pupil was referred
  • Call, Book and WhatsApp buttons fixed to the bottom of the screen on mobile
  • Common questions answered on the page, such as how many lessons a learner needs

Built to be found in Hull

Search terms for driving lessons are local and specific: "automatic driving lessons Hull" is a different search from "driving instructor Cottingham". Giving manual and automatic lessons their own pages, with Hull in the titles and headings and the areas covered named on the page, gives Newland a page that matches each of those searches.

Could this work for your business?

The same approach works for any local service where customers compare a few options before calling: clear prices, real proof, separate pages for each service, and contact buttons that are always one tap away. Driving instructors, trades, clinics and salons all fit this pattern.
